Muse Apps

About

Muse Apps is an independent, community-run site where people share portable instructions for apps and automations they built with a personal AI agent — so others can copy the same instructions into their own agent and rebuild the app.

This project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta. “Muse” is used here only to describe compatibility.

How installing works

Every app page has a short prompt you can paste into Muse (or another agent that can fetch URLs) telling it to fetch the app itself and rebuild it — it reads the instructions, tells you what it’s about to build, and confirms with you before doing anything. If your agent’s own safety checks decline to fetch it, every page also has a “Copy to Muse” button as a manual backup, including the fixed safety footer we append to every submission, for you to paste in yourself.

Safety

  • Every submission is automatically screened by an AI model before it can go live.
  • Submissions the screener flags as suspicious or malicious are held for manual review instead.
  • Apps that request more access than they seem to need are flagged on their page.
  • Every install includes a footer asking your agent to confirm before sending, buying, or sharing anything.
  • Anyone can report an app; apps reported by multiple people are automatically hidden pending review.

Automated screening reduces risk but is not a guarantee. Only install apps you understand, and keep your agent set to ask before taking actions.
