What it does

Converts between 8 common travel currencies in both directions with a swap button and live recalculation as you type.

Use it while traveling to sanity-check prices or settle up with friends; the editable rate table lets you paste in current rates and have everything recalculate instantly.

Rates are illustrative samples (clearly labeled, not live market data) and any custom values persist in localStorage.

Setup

  • Open app.html directly in any browser (double-click or File → Open) — no server needed.
  • Type an amount and pick the from/to currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, JPY, AUD, CHF, MXN).
  • Use the swap button to reverse the conversion direction.
  • Overwrite any rate in the editable rate table (values are per 1 USD); custom rates save automatically.
